Celebrating our largest-ever Job Shadow Awards ceremony.
This year 82 people supported by Horizons took part in our Job Shadow Awards 2026, up from 70 last year. Participating employers were honoured at an awards event in the Metropole Hotel on 16th June 2026. Among those in attendance were Lidl Ireland, Musgrave, Cork City Council, Trigon Hotels, MTU, Arlo Technologies, Dairygold and many more.

There was a massive sense of pride across Horizons this June as 38 athletes from Horizons representing Team Munster at the 2026 Special Olympics Ireland Games, held in Dublin from 18th – 21st June.

Huge congratulations to the team at Bonnington Training Centre who received their Green Campus Flag following four years and more initiative to go green. Horizons is one of just 22 sites in Ireland to have received a Green Campus Flag since the programme began in 2007.
