About Horizons Cork

Horizons is a leading disability charity based in Cork. We support more than 3,000 children and adults with an intellectual disability and additional needs such as autism or physical and medical conditions. We work in partnership with them, their families and local communities, to provide a range of person-centred services and supports.

Exciting Career Opportunities

We are currently recruiting for a variety of roles across our services, including:

  • Support Workers/Care Assistants
  • Social Care Workers
  • Social Care Leaders
  • Nurses

Whether you’re an experienced professional or looking to take the next step in your care career, we’d love to meet you and discuss the opportunities available.

Ebhain O’Mahony, Senior Supervisor at Horizons added: “What I enjoy most about working with Horizons is working with the people we support. It’s so rewarding to help someone achieve their goal, no matter how small or large it might be. I recently supported a lady who really wanted to access her local community and go to a cafe on her own. With my support she achieved this within three years. This might seem like a small thing for some people but it’s very big for many others. It is such a privilege to support someone to achieve a goal which makes such a big difference in their life.”

Why Work with Us?

At Horizons, you’ll be part of a compassionate and professional team committed to making a difference, opportunities for growth, work-life balance, diversity and inclusion.
