We are currently creating our new 5-year Strategic Plan, which will guide Horizons from 2027 to 2031.
We want to hear from People We Support, Family Members, Natural Supports, Parents, Guardians, Staff, Volunteers, and External Partners. Your ideas and feedback will help us plan for the future.
As we work on our Strategic Plan we want to keep you updated. We are currently at Step 1. Below is our 5 Step plan:
Step 1: Have Your Say – Survey
Feedback will be requested from People We Support, Family Members, Natural Supports, Parents, Guardians, Staff, Volunteers, and External Partners to gather ideas and feedback about the future of Horizons.
Step 2: Join a Focus Group
The survey results will help identify the main themes for the plan. A number of focus groups will then be held to explore these topics in more detail, with an Expression of Interest (EOI) issued for participation.
Step 3: Draft the Plan
Using all feedback received, a draft Strategic Plan will be developed by Horizons.
Step 4: Review and Approval of the Plan
The draft plan will be reviewed and approved by the Executive Management Team and the Board of Horizons.
Step 5: Launch the Plan
The Horizons Strategic Plan 2027–2031 will be launched in early 2027.
