RIP.ie is a trusted platform that brings compassionate communities together in times of loss, and in 2026 they proudly celebrate their 20th year. To mark this anniversary, they are launching a meaningful nationwide initiative — a 20km virtual walk taking place throughout March 2026.
This shared journey is designed to honour loved ones, support local charities, and celebrate the strength of community. By turning remembrance into a real-world experience, it helps transform shared grief into shared purpose, fostering connection, healing, and unity.
To further mark this legacy, a square foot of native woodland will be planted for every charity registrant, creating a lasting living tribute.

The Native Woodland Trust
The Native Woodland Trust is dedicated to protecting, preserving, and expanding Ireland’s original woodlands — safeguarding native trees and the wildlife that depend on them for generations to come.
Through Rip.ie Remembers, every registrant can commemorate a loved one with the planting of one square foot of native Irish woodland. A personalised certificate will be sent in their honour, creating a lasting, living tribute rooted in Ireland’s natural heritage.
This heartfelt campaign also gives you the option to remember and celebrate your loved one on your fundraising page by adding some photos and a message about them.
